Your European or American resume won't work here. Australian employers have a very specific way of looking at CVs. If you don't adapt, you won't get called.

How to fix it :

1. Remove the Photo & Personal Details : In Australia, we don't put photos, age, or marital status on a resume to avoid discrimination. Keep it professional.

2. Add your Certifications at the TOP : If you have an RSA, a White Card, or a Manual Driver’s license, put them in bold right under your name. This is what gets you the job.

3. Local Phone Number : Never put your international number. No boss will call a French or German number. Get your Aussie SIM first!
